The Library Learning Commons

Mrs. Cariou and her pages welcome you to the school library. This is a perfect place to get great novels, pursue a research area, search the internet, scan the graphics, and book chat with others. We encourage students to come in on a daily basis. Book displays are continually changing and the library hosts numerous activities.

Students also get several opportunities to come to the library with their class. The library is a good place to learn the necessary research skills needed to become an independent learner. Mrs. Cariou instructs and guides students through the research process, often known as the “Big Six”. Part of this process involves becoming familiar with our district database, which provides current and reliable information on just about every topic imaginable!
